Location: Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

Winter in the park is magical or brutal, unforgettable or a nightmare. The photos I shared here are mostly the good memories, with good light, clouds, and stars. This one looked good, but also had blistering wind and stinging ice crystals that led to immediately numb fingers taking this fingers, which caused serious problems putting on crampons for the following adventures. Glad I got at least a couple pictures before my fingers stopped working.
